CLINICAL PRESENTATION:
I saw Ethan with follow-up for nasal symptoms and decreased appetite on 2026-02-07T16:44:49.042Z. Since the last visit in November, his nasal symptoms have improved with the use of a prescribed nasal spray, now limited to nighttime nasal stuffiness. The primary ongoing concern is selective eating; Ethan prefers fruit and sweets and continues to avoid rice, meats, and most vegetables. His parent reports a weight gain from 27.7 kg in early February to 29.1 kg by March 8th, indicating a 1.5 kg increase over one month. Height remains above average, and weight is around the 15th percentile, consistent with his prior growth pattern. The family has been offering more variety and balanced meals, with efforts to limit sugar intake.

The family is encouraged to continue their current dietary approach with emphasis on offering nutritious, varied foods without forcing intake, and to maintain efforts to limit sugar and sweets. Continue nasal spray as needed for nighttime congestion. Follow-up is recommended in July or August to reassess growth and dietary progress. The clinic coordinator will contact the family to arrange the next appointment.
