Lucas is a school-aged male presenting with a history of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, predominantly inattentive type (F90.0). He is currently on a 40mg medication regimen, which has improved his focus, particularly in science, and increased his confidence, especially during sports activities. However, he continues to experience difficulty focusing in math, which he finds uninteresting. His parents have reported side effects of the medication, including increased fatigue, difficulty falling asleep despite a consistent bedtime of 9:30 PM, and decreased appetite with minimal intake in the morning and incomplete lunches. Growth parameters indicate height in the 85th percentile and weight at an average percentile for age.

We are hoping you will be able to assist with monitoring and managing Lucas's attention and focus concerns, as well as addressing the side effects of his current medication regimen. I have attached my consult note from February 8, 2026, for your review.
